WP5 DEV - Survey methodologies
WP Leader: AlmaLaurea
Start Date: December 2011
Duration: 6 months
WP 5 will run in parallel with the central activities of WP 4 in order to provide the pilot stage with a trail concerning survey methodologies based on stakeholders interviews. AlmaLaurea will coordinate the survey aimed at collecting data on some characteristics and features of Continuing Education courses leavers (for example: opinions on actual accomplishment of the learning outcomes, acquired competences, current job conditions, overall satisfaction for the course). Data collected will be integrated into the Evaluation Report Information Model of each of the participating Continuing Education Programmes.
Milestone 1 - PREPARATION OF THE SURVEY
According to the identified indicators required by the Evaluation Report Information Model (WP4) and in line with the QA framework needs, the Core Group will identify the user categories (CE leavers, students, employers, CE staff and managers...) to be involved in the surveys. AlmaLaurea in collaboration with the Universities /Institutes partners will prepare the questionnaire texts (Virtual Communication). Questionnaires will be if necessary translated in the local language. Specific survey methodologies to be implemented in the different sites will be identified, and web questionnaire solution will be preferred. Almalaurea will be in charge for preparation and release of the questionnaires on the web site.
Milestone 2 - CORE GROUP WORKSHOP ON PILOT START UP
During the Core Group Workshop the Survey tools preparatory report will be distributed among partners and the Core Group will define and accept surveys time schedule and overall indication.
Milestone 3 - DATA COLLECTION
Almalaurea will coordinate the survey in collaboration with partners (coordination of field activities, periodic checks, communication with the partners on the state of the advancement of the phase), and at the end will analyse and prepare the collected data and transfer the information in the project web platform in collaboration with the UNIBO.
